XHGX507C1 is a comprehensive underground metal pipeline and cable path detection instrument (cable pipe locator) with strong performance. It provides pipeline path detection, pipeline census, depth measurement, cable identification and fault finding, and consists of a transmitter, a transmitting current clamp, a receiver, a receiving flexible current clamp, a connecting test line and an optional A-frame. It accurately locates pipelines and cables and measures depth, making it suitable for trenchless detection and patrol work.

Detection Modes & Depth Measurement
Classic Positioning Mode
The classic positioning mode shows a compass, direction and signal amplitude so the operator can intuitively see the left and right direction of the pipeline and follow the route accurately.
Wire Cruise Mode
The wire cruise mode gives 360° all-round pipeline path indication and continuously displays the depth, current and relative position of the pipeline. The interface is simple and intuitive and can be operated without experience.
Signal Distortion Measurement Mode
This mode displays peak and trough waveforms simultaneously. In a distortion-free scene the peak and trough positions are consistent and the shape is symmetrical about the centre line, helping the operator judge distorted or complex scenes.
Depth & Current Measurement
The instrument measures underground cable and pipeline depth from 0 to 20m and displays depth and current in real time, with a plane positioning accuracy of ±5% for burial depths of 0–3m and -10% for depths of 3–20m.
Fault Finding (Optional A-Frame)
With the optional A-frame the instrument can also find cable sheath and insulation faults, extending its use from route survey and depth measurement to fault location.
